North Dakota tribe signs hunting agreements

The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation signed two hunting agreements with the state of North Dakota on Tuesday.

Under the agreements, the tribe and the state will recognize each other's hunting licenses and assist each other in prosecuting violations. The tribe agreed to stop charging access or conservation fees for boaters. In exchange, the state will pay the tribe $25,000 a year. Get the Story:
